Giuliana Rancic has had one tough 2015 so far. It all started in February when Rancic made a conversational joke on E!'s Fashion Police. Currently, the 40-year-old reporter is overcoming her recent embryo loss along with husband, Bill Rancic while having to address her weight publicly.
Rancic's weight has created much noise ever since her Golden Globes appearance this past January. Due to the scrutiny becoming unbearable, Giuliana has finally decided publicly to express her feelings on the judgements being made. She stated to People.com Friday,
"Some people were saying, The cancer is probably back, And they were accusing me of every eating disorder. I thought to myself, 'God, if someone really thought I had an eating disorder, what a horrible way to approach it.'
Giuliana's breast diagnosis occurred in 2011 and had a double mastectomy.
Rancic also stated to People.com,
"It's really hurtful. I'm sorry that some people think I'm disgustingly skinny, as they put it, but there's nothing I can do. I'm lucky that I even have the type of cancer that reacts to the medicine."
"I never want my weight to distract people from what I do," she says. "But it is becoming a distraction, [whenever] I wear something sleeveless, show my arms, my back."
How would you deal with this type of scrutiny?
